Visa

Citizens of many countries are allowed entry to the Philippines without visas for a period of less than thirty (30) days as long as they possess valid return tickets to their port of origin or next destination. For more information, kindly visit the link to the

Accommodation

There are many hotels within a 5 km. distance from the U.P. Diliman campus. Guests may opt to book their own preferred accommodations. The recommended hotel for the invited lecturers / speakers and supported participants is the Hop INN Tomas Morato. It is located at 312 Tomas Morato Avenue, Brgy. South Triangle, Quezon City 1103, Metro Manila. Standard check-in time is 2:00 p.m. onwards, while check-out is 12:00 p.m. Early check-in and late check-out time comes with a fee and subject to room availability. Please indicate in the registration form should you wish the Local Organizing Committee to book a room for you. 

Another option is to stay at the UP NISMED (National Institute for Science and Mathematics Education Development) Hostel within the U.P. Diliman Campus. This is walking distance 

(about 850 m.) from the school and workshop venue. For this, the Local Organizers can help facilitate the reservations.  

Transportation to and from the Airport

The most convenient way from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminals to UP Diliman campus or to the chosen accommodation is via a ride-hailing service such as Grab or Green GSM (Metered Taxi). You can download the Grab or Green GSM app to book a ride. A Grab ride from the NAIA to the UP Diliman Campus approximately costs from PhP 600.00 to PhP 900.00. On the other hand, a Green GSM taxi for the same distance would approximately cost between PhP 350.00 to PhP 450.00.
